I usually fish out of the Lanark Village Boat Club Marina which is situated adjacent to Mike Hopkin's Lanark Village Mart, a "PURE" gas station, convenience store & deli. The marina & store are located on US highway 319/98, approximately one hour south of Tallahassee, one half hour east of Apalachicola and four miles east of Carrabelle.

The Lanark Village Mart (850-697-4600) carries a full line of bait, tackle, cold drinks, beer, ice, gas & snacks. Additionally, the deli serves hamburgers, hot & cold sandwiches, and a variety of other culinary delights. Although the store is usually open by 5:30 a.m.,it would be a good idea to check a day ahead of time to determine the opening times of the deli. |
